Pictured above are two stained-glass "suncatchers"
: Peter and Pauline from the original Der Struwwelpeter
stories. These are figures made of stained glass that are
hung on a window and are "brought to life" by the light
coming through them. Details of their construction, and further
examples of Struwwelpeter characters are discussed at the end
of the books Struwwelpeter 2000 and
Max and Moritz 2000.
